This splendid Kazak rug, originating from Afghanistan, is a textile work of art that embodies centuries of tradition. Crafted with artisanal mastery, it features a vibrant geometric design and intense colors, typical of rugs from this region.
The rug is made from hand-carded wool, with a cotton warp, which gives it exceptional robustness and durability. Its dense knotting, with a density of 100,000-150,000 knots/sqm, and its thickness of 1.1 cm, testify to its high quality and attention to detail. The natural abrash, visible in the chromatic variations, adds a touch of authenticity and charm.
The central pattern is characterized by striking geometric medallions, arranged on a luminous light grey-celeste field. These medallions are outlined with elaborate contours and filled with shades of red, orange, blue, and cream. The main border, in a relaxing light green and light blue, is embellished with stylized floral motifs and secondary bands in yellow and red, framing the rug with elegance. A piece that brings warmth and character to any environment.
