This splendid Kazak rug, originating from Pakistan, is an authentic hand-knotted work of art. Characterized by a vibrant shade of scarlet red, its field is enriched with geometric medallions and stylized tribal motifs that tell its story and culture of origin. Secondary colors such as creamy beige, deep blue, and sky blue, along with touches of green and yellow, create a harmonious and vibrant contrast.
The artisanal craftsmanship is evident in its density, ranging between 100,000 and 150,000 knots/sqm, and a thickness of 1.1 cm, giving it robustness and a pleasant feel. Made from hand-carded wool with a cotton warp, this Kazak features characteristic color variations known as "abrash," which add depth and uniqueness to the piece, testifying to the artisanal nature of the dyeing and weaving. An elaborate border, with diamond and cross motifs, frames the central field, completing the rug's traditional and refined aesthetic. Perfect for adding warmth and character to any room, this rug is an investment in beauty and tradition.
