This magnificent Tabriz rug, originating from the historic region of Persia, is a textile work of art that embodies the elegance and richness of Persian manufacturing tradition. Masterfully hand-knotted using hand-carded wool, it guarantees exceptional softness and lasting durability, with a cotton warp ensuring its structural stability.
Its design features a majestic central medallion in the shape of an eight-pointed star, embellished with intricate floral and stylized vegetal motifs in shades of cream and dark red. This is enclosed within a primary night blue field, densely decorated with a delicate all-over design of small flowers and leaves that expand harmoniously.
In the four corners, refined corner pendants stand out, echoing elements of the central medallion and creating a sense of balance and visual continuity. The entire piece is bordered by a series of bands, where the main one, on a deep red background, features a classic Herati or stylized palmette motif alternated with blossoms, beautifully framing the rug's core.
With a density of 160,000-200,000 knots per square meter, this Tabriz is a testament to high artisanal quality and remarkable fineness in detail representation. Its color palette, dominated by blue, red, and cream, with accents of light blue, green, and burgundy, makes it a versatile piece capable of enriching any environment, bringing a touch of luxury and history.
