Tabriz Persian Rug, a Timeless Masterpiece
This magnificent Tabriz rug, originating from the renowned region of Persia, embodies the excellence of Oriental knotting art. Crafted from high-quality hand-carded wool on a robust cotton warp, it boasts a density of 160,000-200,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of approximately 1 cm, ensuring durability and a soft, luxurious feel.
The design is dominated by a vibrant scarlet red field that serves as a backdrop for an intricate floral motif. At its center, a large multi-lobed medallion stands out, rich in details of navy blue, cream, and green, radiating harmoniously. The corner spandrels, in cream tones, echo the central medallion and feature stylized floral patterns, elegantly framing the field.
The main border, dark blue in color, is skillfully decorated with a series of alternating cartouches and palmettes, interspersed with rosettes and minute foliage, creating a refined contrast with the central red field.
