This magnificent Tabriz rug, originating from Persia, is a sublime expression of Persian art and tradition. Expertly hand-knotted, it features a rich and detailed composition.
The main field, in a vibrant red, is dominated by a large, star-shaped central medallion, characterized by intricate floral forms and palmettes, in shades of deep blue, ivory, and gold. From the four corners emerge spandrels that echo the design and colors of the medallion, creating impeccable visual harmony.
The entire field is adorned with an all-over design of intertwining vines, stylized flowers, and leaves, distributed with balance and refinement. The main border, contrasting with dark blue, is also embellished with a series of floral motifs and cartouches, framing the piece with great elegance.
