This beautiful Kazak runner, originating from Afghanistan, is a magnificent example of ancient Oriental weaving art. Crafted with hand-carded wool (with a cotton warp), it features a robust structure and a soft feel, characteristic of high-quality handmade pieces.
Its design is characterized by a series of geometric medallions arranged along the central sage green field. These motifs are framed by richly decorated borders with small stars and geometric shapes, in a harmonious palette of light blue, coral, beige, and dark blue. The skillful use of colors, sometimes with subtle tonal variations (abrash), gives unique depth and character to each piece.
With a density of 100,000-150,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of 1.1 cm, this runner is not just a decorative element, but a functional work of art, perfect for adding a touch of tradition and warmth to any space, from hallways to entryways.
