This splendid Kazak rug, originating from Pakistan, is a magnificent example of the ancient art of knotting. Crafted with hand-carded wool, it features a sturdy cotton warp, ensuring durability and a rich texture.
The central field is dominated by a vibrant turquoise blue, enhanced by a captivating geometric medallion. Traditional motifs, predominantly in brick red, cream, yellow, and shades of green and gray, are harmoniously distributed, creating a fascinating visual contrast. The use of natural dyes and artisanal techniques may result in slight color variations (abrash), which accentuate the authenticity and unique character of each piece.
With a density of 100,000-150,000 knots/sqm and a thickness of approximately 1.1 cm, this rug is not just a decorative element, but a true investment in quality and history, capable of bringing warmth and an ethnic touch to any setting, from the living room to the bedroom.
